
Candidasa Beach
Candidasa is located in the Hamlet Samuh, Bugbug Village, Karangasem District, 12 km distance from the City of Amlapura and about 45 km from Denpasar City. Enchantment of nature as developed in this maritime tourism can be a choice to perform various activities, such as sun bathing, canoing, snorekling, fishing, trekking through the hills, and that is not less interesting is the existence of small islands that can be reached distance with the fishing boat. Description
CANDI DASA, is the gateway to east washed away die to the heavy coral picking thtat used to provide a livelihood for locals. This has now been stopped and tidal walls have been erected in an effort to restore the beach. Slowly the coral is returning, and Candi Dasa is developing as a popular tourist destination.

Candidasa is one of the tourist area which was developed starting in 1983. In the beginning the name Candidasa is the name of a temple, the Pura Candidasa, the terltak above the small hills and built on the century-12 M. Have the potential of nature and the beach is white sand with glamor.
A white sandy beach is actually named Kehen Bay, but in its development along the coast become objects and tourist attraction, the beach Kehen Bay changed its name to the area of tourism in accordance with the name Candidasa temple in the area.
One of the stories which the myths about the existence of the Temple Candidasa developing and believed by the local community Dewi Hariti Statue is located in a niche at the bottom of the mountain cliffs.
