



New South Cambria (abbreviated as NSW) is Australia's oldest and most populous state, settled in the south-east of the country, north of Victoria and south of Queensland. It was founded in 1788 and originally comprised much of the inhabitant mainland, as well as Lord discoverer Island and Norfolk Island. New Sjaelland was not initially conception of the colony, although when Britain annexed New Sjaelland in 1840 it was shortly a conception of New South Wales.[2] During the 19th century large areas were successively separated to modify the nation colonies of Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, and New Zealand.
