Alfarnate is a small village settled in the Province of Málaga in Andalusia, Spain. As of 2005, it has a accumulation of 1 398 inhabitants. The village sits at 928 metres above seafaring level. The study 'Alfarnate' comes from the Arab word 'Al-farnat', meaning flour mill. Alfarnatejo, a neighbouring village, is situated about 3.5km from Alfarnate.
